FRA North West Limited are based in Bolton. We offer Fire Risk Assessments within Greater Manchester and Lancashire. We assess many types of commercial, retail, hospitality, educational and residential (HMO) properties.  Our  assessors are qualified as competent (see below), DBS checked and are covered by comprehensive Professional Indemnity insurance for your peace of mind. All of our assessors hold a very minimum of NEBOSH Fire Safety AND EQF level 4 (RFQ 3) fire risk assessment qualifications. Our assessors also hold certification from an accredited fire door course, generally IFSM.  They also benefit from at least five years UK experience in fire risk, fire consultancy or managing passive fire protection projects. We  provide immediate quotations as well as same day and comprehensive reports in PAS 79-1 2020 (or PAS 79-2 where still recommended) for commercial, educational and residential buildings using specialist software. FRA North West Ltd are proud members of the Fire Protection Association, membership no. A-150158. Our FPA membership allows us to access the very latest UK sector and HMO specific fire safety guidance. All of our assessors are members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers at a minimum of Technician Grade. 
FRA North West Limited adheres  to the guidelines published by the Fire Sector Federation’s Approved Code of Practice - A National Framework for Fire Risk Assessor Competency. Even though we do not provide risk assessments for higher risk residential buildings (HRRBs), buildings that are 10 storeys or more in height (typically 18m or more as measured from the ground access level to the topmost occupied storey, we still adhere to 3.1 Professional Body and Company Membership from the Approved Code of Practice which states,
"Each fire risk assessor must be an employee of a company that is participating in a UKAS approved scheme or a member of a professional body licensed by the Engineering Council for the relevant independent assessment or actively working towards UKAS accreditation or Engineering Council licensing."
